In before people start complaining about deaths and rebirths
in anime give it a rest already the fandom these days cant help but pick
stuff apart and cant just sit and enjoy the anime without putting much
thought in it its a shounen people should be used to it by now.

There is a reason why Avan wasn’t able to Kill vearn…. like hunkel said he is “weak”. Would be hard to kill an immortal when you are “weak”.

no no Avan had all the potential to end killvearn right then and there he was in his feather trap killvearn couldn't escape and he sliced killvearns mask he could have used that opportunity to just to slice him or use his trap in a smiliar manner killvearn did to Dai,popp,and hadlar but he intentionally let him get away as you could tell.

Ok let’s say Avan could’ve sliced Killvearn. But a deep slice wouldn’t be enough to kill an immortal. And Avan wouldn’t let a threat like Killvearn be free, if he had enough strength. But he didn’t have enough strength within him, so a possible reason is, he didn’t want to waste his energy.

We will most likely get some of our questions answered, when we learn the truth about Avan in the next episode. Yup

Now that Avan is back things seem not so bad anymore. Early part of this episode was nice after the heavy emotions last week. Avan has always been a jokester making light of things no matter the circumstances. Cool under pressure is the thing Avan is best at. Popp understandably not quite believing what's in front of him. I mean he and Dai did literally see Avan die before their very eyes so it makes sense he wouldn't believe it right away. Avan doesn't give much explanation right away but we'll get to that later on. Him telling the kids to run off so they wouldn't be hurt by a reviving Killvearn was so on point. Again cool under pressure no matter what. Play up that goofy persona just to get them all to safety. He came close to ending Killvearn there but we all know the reaper is slippery as hell. Hyunckel can see though that Avan isn't his same self as before

if you remember Popp used Megante too he died but was revived so im not too surprised Avan found a way to survive.

Man, this was a roller coaster of emotions, and I loved the whole ride!

2 things how did he get up to the palace without the portal, i did see him do like teleport / instant transmission but is that good enough to get up there?, also , he didnt come before maybe because he was wounded for long time? or maybe he is on borrowed time for some holy stuff

i'm not 100% sure, but i think the huge 5 point minakatoru lifted the protection on the castle, so Avan should be able to Ruura/Zoom himself since there's no barrier anymore

i'm not spoiling the reason, i thought it was a bit farfetched when i read the manga, but it kinda makes sense after thinking about it. Also he's already shown that got some huge gains in the time he spent off screen, so you can consider that a hint

They should dunk Avan in the water more often - he looks so much better without those stupid curls.
But the reunion was cute, I love the way Popp just didn't give a shit about appearances and full in clung to Avan around the neck - it showed just how hard he'd been hurt by losing him.

NGL, this part of the manga was a bit weird, with everyone saying seemingly random stuff and acting a bit weird, i just felt that the author wanted to put a plot twist after another, but the effect on the anime is decent. we have this cliffanger moments that keeps people wondering and/or formulating weird theories. It really translated well IMHO
